Job Details

• Position: Locum Tenens CRNA – General Anesthesia
• Location: Richmond, Virginia (23225) — a welcoming city known for its historic character, vibrant dining, and access to outdoor recreation along the James River
• Setting: Hospital / Level I Trauma Center
• Schedule: Monday–Friday with 10- and 12-hour shift options
• Call: Optional
• Start Date: January 1, 2026
• Duration: Approximately 12 weeks
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $4,500–$5,240
• Patient Population: Adult
• Charting: EMR

CRNA Job Requirements

• Active Virginia state medical license or ability to obtain licensure
• Graduate of an accredited Nurse Anesthesia program
• Board certified Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)
• Minimum of 1 year of CRNA experience required
• Strong clinical skills in a hospital-based anesthesia environment
• Willingness to work a mix of 10- and 12-hour shifts
• Comfort working in a fast-paced, high-acuity trauma center setting

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, high-quality anesthesia care in a hospital-based setting
• Support a broad adult case mix in a busy Level I Trauma Center
• Collaborate closely with physicians, anesthesia providers, and clinical staff as part of a care team
• Deliver excellent patient care while maintaining a strong standard of practice
• Participate in optional call coverage as needed and remain flexible with scheduling
• Adapt to evolving clinical needs and contribute to an efficient perioperative workflow
