Requirements Memorial Health Meadows Hospital is seeking a full-time emergency medicine physician to join the team in Vidalia GA. Qualified Eligible or Board Certified in Emergency Medicine 2-3 years EM experience Eligible for or holding an unrestricted Georgia medical license free of restrictions probationary terms or conditionsNo history of license revocation restriction or suspension in any jurisdictionHave current or willing to obtain unrestricted DEA registrationEMR: ExpanseNEED for 2 additional Locums Position specific questions · Reason for the need? Open recruiting positions · Is there a specific start date needed? July 6MD shifts amp August 12 MD shifts · Duration of need? Ongoing · What are expectations for orientation? ie shadow day? EMR training? one day orient / 1 to 2 days shadow Credentialing questions: · Will emergency privileges be an option? No. Temporary privileges may be an option but ICPN should only be used in true emergencies. We have known about these open shifts for months. · Are case logs needed? If so what are the requirements? yes Hospital/unit questions · Number of ER Bays? 20 ED bays 12 Fast track bays 3 high security rooms · Number of Patients/Hour? 1.8-2.0 · What’s the patient mix? · Trauma center designation? No · Is there nurse/APP Triage for lower acuity? Yes fast track area used for triage 8am-6 pm shift coverage open 8am-2am Providers on site: 2 shifts overlap Specialty Specific Questions: EM · Shift lengths? 8 10 12 PHY 3- 11’s- shifts 6a-5p 11a-10p 7p-6a ---30 hrs of mid-level coverage 3 10’s -shifts 8a-6p 1p-11p 4p-2a · AM and PM Shift Coverage Needed? yes · Staffing Model: How many other EM Providers are on at the same time? 2-4 · What does support staff include? Normal ER support staff · ED Admission Rate? 12-16
