About the Position

Vascular Surgery Nurse Practitioner

Location: Pennsylvania
Schedule: Four 10 hour day shifts, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, for two weeks per month in scheduled blocks

Position Overview
Provide vascular surgery advanced practice coverage supporting inpatient consults and rounds plus clinic support. This role requires vascular surgery experience and comfort assisting in both the clinic and the OR as outlined in the order details.

Clinical Scope

• Adult patient population, ages 18 and older
• Typical daily volume: approximately 15 patients plus consults
• Procedures and services may include vascular bypass and amputations
• Practice setting includes hospital coverage and clinic within the hospital
• EMR: Epic

Required Qualifications

• Nurse Practitioner
• National certification
• Active Pennsylvania license
• DEA required
• Minimum 1 year of vascular surgery experience

Credentialing

• Credentialing timeframe is typically around 90 days, with potential temporary privileges for clean files as outlined in the order details
