About the Position

We are seeking an Obstetrics/Gynecology Physician for a 60-day assignment in California, starting Aug 24, 2026. This role involves providing comprehensive outpatient prenatal, postpartum, and gynecologic care, evaluating diagnostic tests, developing treatment plans, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team. Work hours are typically 8a - 5p.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide outpatient prenatal, postpartum, and gynecologic care in an FQHC clinic setting
  • Evaluate diagnostic tests, develop treatment plans, and coordinate referrals when specialty care is needed
  • Collaborate with primary care providers, APPs, and ancillary staff to deliver comprehensive women's healthcare
  • Educate patients on preventive care, family planning, and reproductive health
  • Support quality improvement, peer review, and clinical documentation standards
  • Provide clinical consultation to advanced practice providers as needed

  • Cases: Routine prenatal and postpartum care; Annual well-woman exams and preventive screenings; Pap smears and cervical cancer screening; Contraceptive counseling and management, including LARC placement/removal; Colposcopy and office gynecologic procedures; Endometrial biopsy; Evaluation and treatment of abnormal uterine bleeding, pelvic pain, and common gynecologic conditions; Management of high-risk pregnancies with appropriate referral coordination
