About the Position
We are seeking a skilled Obstetrician/Gynecologist for a 17-day assignment in Florida, commencing Aug 6, 2026. This role involves 24-hour call coverage with shifts from 7 AM to 7 AM, handling patient callbacks, managing assigned and unassigned cases, performing GYN procedures, and attending to deliveries, including IUD placements, colonoscopies, prenatal care, C-sections, and vaginal births.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Provide 24-hour call coverage.
- Manage patient callbacks, typically 1-2 per shift.
- Handle assigned and unassigned cases.
- Perform required GYN procedures.
- Oversee approximately 70 deliveries per month.
- Perform procedures such as IUD placements and colonoscopies.
- Provide prenatal care.
- Conduct c-sections and vaginal births.
- Work independently without support staff.
