About the Position

Assignment Details:

• Setting: Outpatient
• Reason for Opening: Emergency coverage
• Location: State College, PA
• Start Date: ASAP. Ideally no later than 8/3/26
• Duration: 60 days with option to extend
• Work Schedule: M-F 8A-5P (open to 1-2 weeks/month)
• Call Schedule: Not required, but available
  • 3 different call options – weeknight , weekend, and during the day hospital call
• Cases: General consults cardio, read ECHO, halter monitors, ECGs. TEE only requried for hospital call
• Patient Volume: approx 20-25 ppd
• Staffing Mix/Support: Nursing, MAs, and APP daily support
• EMR: EPIC
• Credentialing Info: Can get emergency privileges for a clean file

Requirements

• Board Certifed Cardiologist (MD/DO)
• Active PA license or IMLC
• Outpatient experience preferred
