Additional Information

 We are seeking a Board-Eligible or Board-Certified Hematologist/Oncologist for a full-time locum tenens opportunity in Wisconsin. This ongoing assignment is available due to a long-term physician vacancy and offers a collaborative practice environment with strong clinical support.

Position Highlights

• Full-time schedule
• Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
• Ongoing assignment
• Inpatient and outpatient practice
• Established multidisciplinary oncology team
• Cerner EMR
• Temporary privileges available

Clinical Responsibilities

• Hematology-focused practice
• Bone marrow biopsies
• Inpatient and outpatient consultations
• Management of acute leukemia patients
• Chemotherapy patient supervision
• Daily rounding responsibilities
• Participation in call coverage rotation

Support & Resources

• Collaborative team of physicians and APPs
• Dedicated nursing support
• Nurse navigators
• Infusion center support staff
• Access to radiation oncology services

Qualifications

• MD or DO
• Completion of Hematology/Oncology Fellowship
• Board Eligible or Board Certified
• ACLS, ATLS, and BLS certifications
• Bone marrow biopsy experience required
• Strong inpatient and outpatient hematology experience preferred

Call Coverage

• 1:4 call rotation
• Primarily phone-based call
• Limited call-back burden
• Shared clinic and hospital responsibilities

Additional Details

• Estimated credentialing time: 60 days
• Malpractice coverage provided
• Travel and lodging available per policy
• Ongoing need with potential for long-term assignment
