A community hospital in south-central Pennsylvania is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Urologist for a one-week locum tenens assignment providing 24-hour inpatient call coverage.
This opportunity offers the chance to manage a broad spectrum of inpatient and emergency urologic cases while working in a collaborative community hospital environment utilizing Epic EMR. Physicians will provide hospital-based surgical coverage, emergency consultations, and telephone support for affiliated regional facilities.
Providers with strong communication skills and comprehensive general urology experience are encouraged to apply.
Assignment Highlights- Seven consecutive 24-hour call shifts
- Hospital-based urology coverage
- Active surgical call
- Approximately 10–12 callback hours daily
- Covers Chambersburg Hospital
- Telephone support for Gettysburg, Waynesboro, and Fulton County Medical Center
- Adult and pediatric urology
- Epic EMR
- 76-bed community hospital
- No APP support
- Temporary privileges available
- Pennsylvania license or IMLC Letter of Qualification accepted
- Pay Ranking: Top 10% community Urology call assignment
- Provide 24-hour inpatient urology call coverage
- Evaluate emergency department consults
- Perform urgent and emergent surgical procedures
- Round on hospitalized urology patients
- Manage inpatient admissions
- Perform emergency operative interventions
- Coordinate care with emergency medicine and hospitalist teams
- Provide telephone consultation to affiliated hospitals
- Complete documentation using Epic EMR
- 76-bed acute care hospital

Required
- MD or DO
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Urology
- Active Pennsylvania Medical License or IMLC Letter of Qualification
- DEA
- Epic EMR experience
- Comprehensive General Urology experience
