About the Position

Position Overview $150/Hour

A regional acute care hospital in northern New York is seeking an experienced Physician Assistant for a long-term General Surgery locum tenens opportunity beginning in late September.

This position combines Surgical First Assist operating room responsibilities with inpatient surgical floor coverage while working alongside experienced surgeons caring for General Surgery, Orthopedic, and OB/GYN patients. Providers enjoy a consistent weekday schedule with optional compensated call opportunities for those seeking additional income.

Candidates with robotic surgery experience and orthopedic first assist experience are highly preferred.

• 26-week assignment
• Four 10-hour shifts each week
• Monday–Friday daytime schedule
• Surgical First Assist and inpatient floor coverage

• Weekend call may include C-sections and hip fractures
