About the Position

Cardiothoracic Surgery Physician Assistant

We are seeking an experienced Cardiothoracic Surgery Physician Assistant to provide locum coverage for our CVT surgeon. The ideal candidate will be skilled as a first assist with vein harvesting experience preferred.

Assignment Dates:

• October 13, 2025 – November 3, 2025

• November 17, 2025 – November 25, 2025

• December 15, 2025 – December 28, 2025

Compensation: $110.00 per hour

Position Details:

• Schedule: Two weeks on / two weeks off

• Hours: 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM onsite + night and weekend call

• Setting: OR, inpatient, and some clinic coverage

• Duties:
  • First assist in cardiothoracic surgery

  • Vein harvesting (preferred)

  • Inpatient rounding and support

  • Call coverage (nights/weekends)

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of cardiothoracic surgery experience

• Active Nevada PA license

• Flu and COVID vaccinations required (medical or religious exemptions accepted)

• Drive-in candidates preferred
