About the Position

We are seeking an experienced Locums Vascular Surgery Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide inpatient, hospital-based coverage in Toledo, Ohio. This assignment offers a consistent weekday schedule with no call or weekend responsibilities while working alongside a collaborative vascular surgery team across multiple facilities.

Assignment Details

• Assignment Dates: July 13, 2026 – November 13, 2026

• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM

• Coverage: 4–5 days per week

• Practice Setting: Inpatient/Hospital-Based

• Coverage Area: Multiple hospital facilities

• No Call

• No Weekends

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and manage vascular surgery patients in the inpatient setting.

• Conduct daily rounds and provide comprehensive preoperative and postoperative patient care.

• Assist with consultations, admissions, discharges, and care coordination.

• Collaborate closely with vascular surgeons, hospitalists, nursing staff, and ancillary services.

• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as appropriate.

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in Epic EMR.

• Help ensure high-quality, patient-centered vascular surgical care across multiple facilities.

Practice Highlights

• Patient Volume: Approximately 12–15 patients per day

Requirements

• Board-Certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.

• Active Ohio NP or PA license.

• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.

• Active DEA registration.

• Vascular surgery or surgical inpatient experience preferred.

• Local candidates strongly preferred.
