About the Position

TBI MD - PM&R

Location: Florida
Schedule: Clinic based evaluations; volume typically 1 to 8 veterans per day
Setting: VA disability evaluations clinic
Openings: 1

Position Overview
Provide disability evaluation exams for veterans. This is an evaluation only role with documentation completed in the electronic system and submitted within required timeframes.

Key Responsibilities

• Review records prior to the appointment and confirm claimed conditions with the veteran
• Complete required questionnaires and medical opinions in the electronic system during the exam
• Submit completed documentation within 24 to 48 hours after the exam
• Administer and interpret MOCA testing as needed

Required Qualifications

• MD or DO
• Board certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation or completed a qualifying residency as outlined in the order details
• Active medical license in at least one U.S. state
• Comfortable working independently and using EMR and common computer tools

Credentialing

• Credentialing typically takes about 30 days and may move faster with prompt provider responsiveness
