• Position: Locum Tenens Obstetrics & Gynecology Physician / OB Hospitalist
• Setting: OB Hospitalist unit
• Location: Redwood City, California
• Schedule: 12 Hour Rotating; 24-hour in-house rotating shifts
• Hours per Week: 36
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Start Date: November 1, 2026
• End Date: January 31, 2027
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $5,670 - $6,070

Job Requirements

• Board Certified in Obstetrics & Gynecology
• Active California medical license
• Active California DEA
• Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience required
• Preferred: 5+ years of experience in OB/GYN or hospitalist practice
• Ability to provide complete presentation materials, including an updated CV and required pre-screen documentation
• Clean background with no disclosures or malpractice issues

Responsibilities

• Provide OB triage and GYN triage coverage in a fast-paced hospital setting
• Manage labor and delivery cases, including obstetric emergencies
• Evaluate and treat gynecologic emergencies and urgent inpatient needs
• Perform inpatient consultations as needed
• Support a collaborative care model alongside nursing teams and community OB/GYN providers
• Deliver high-quality patient care in a busy, team-oriented women’s health environment
