Locums Obstetrics and Gynecology Physician in San Luis Obispo, California - 24-Hour Call

Provide inpatient Obstetrics and Gynecology coverage with unrestricted 24-hour call while supporting a steady Labor and Delivery service averaging 30 to 40 deliveries per month.

Practice & Cases

• Inpatient Obstetrics and Gynecology coverage
• Hospital-based Labor and Delivery and OB/GYN consults
• General Obstetrics and Gynecology procedures
• Certified Nurse Midwife support available depending on call structure

Schedule

• 24-hour unrestricted call coverage
• Coverage may be structured as primary call or backup to a Certified Nurse Midwife
• Coverage beginning in early August
• Additional coverage blocks available

Requirements

• Must be an MD or DO
• Active California license required
• Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology
• ACLS, BLS, and DEA required

Logistics

• Airfare, lodging, rental car, and mileage are provided
• Travel accommodations are arranged for scheduled coverage
