About the Position

We are seeking a Neonatology Nurse Practitioner for an engaging 42-day assignment in West Virginia, starting Nov 2, 2026. This full-time role involves managing 8–10 patients daily with night call duties, working 8 or 12-hour shifts within a children's hospital neonatal intensive care unit. Responsibilities include performing advanced procedures like chest tube insertion, umbilical and arterial line placements, lumbar punctures, and respiratory management.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Maintain a full-time schedule; flexibility in availability is considered
  • Manage 8–10 patients per day, including night call responsibilities
  • Provide care within a children's hospital setting with a neonatal intensive care unit
  • Perform advanced procedures including chest tubes, umbilical lines, and lumbar punctures
  • Conduct respiratory management and arterial line placement
  • Execute paracentesis and thoracentesis skills
  • Interpret EKGs and perform central line placement
