Position Overview 

A regional referral hospital in Northern California is seeking a Board Certified Neurosurgeon for an ongoing locum tenens assignment beginning November 2026.

This opportunity combines outpatient clinic, inpatient consultation, weekday beeper call, and weekend 24-hour call coverage in a collaborative neurosurgical practice utilizing Epic EMR.

The practice offers an excellent balance of scheduled clinical work and compensated call responsibilities while providing exposure to a broad spectrum of adult neurosurgical pathology, including complex spinal surgery.

This assignment is ideal for physicians seeking premium compensation, flexible scheduling, and long-term locum opportunities in Northern California.

Provider Compensation: Clinic $365/hour, Weekend Call $2,600/day

Provider Pay Ranking: Top 10–15% of comparable California Neurosurgery locum assignments.
