Requirements Orientation – Aug 10 and/or Aug 30 7a-3pm 8 hour day Aug 11 7a-3pm 8 hour day week night beeper call 14 hours Aug 12 7a-3pm 8 hour day week night beeper call 14 hours Aug 13 7a-3pm 8 hour day week night beeper call 14 hours Sept 1 7a-3pm 8 hour day week night beeper call 14 hours Sept 2 7a-3pm 8 hour day week night beeper call 14 hours Sept 3 7a-3pm 8 hour day week night beeper call 14 hours Sept 4 7a-3pm 8 hour day week night beeper call 14 hours Sept 5 7am-7am 24 hour call Sept 6 7am-7am 24 hour call Sept 7 7am-7am 24 hour call holiday Sept 8 7a-3pm 8 hour day week night beeper call 14 hours Work Details: · Support Staff: Surgeon · Amount of Coverage Needed per Month: 4 days 7a-3p plus call 3p-7a · Patients per day: 10-15 CVICU/step down patients plus 1-2 surgeries · Patient Population/Age: adult/geron · Department Description: CT Surgery · EMR: Cerner · Hospital Bed size: 199 · Special Procedures: temporary pacemaker removal chest tube removal IABP removal Aline placement · Skills Required: recent cardiothoracic surgery proficient with EVH Practice Setting: Hospital Requirements: · Board Certification: PA · License Required: AZ · DEA: yes · Minimum Experience Required: 3 years in cardiothoracic surgery with EVH Graduate from a university program approved by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants NCCPA - Required Or Master's Degree in Nursing- Required Certification Licensures Certified or certification eligible by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants NCCPA.- Required *Licensure or eligible for licensing as a Physicians Assistant in the State of Arizona– Required *ACLS and BLS American Heart Association- Required OR *Graduate from an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner Program – Required *Completion of a RN/NP First Assistant Program- Required *Current unrestricted Arizona APRN license- Required *Medical Surgical or NP ANCC or AANP Certification- Required *ACLS and BLS American Heart Association- Required Credentialing Timeframe: 30 days Shift Info: Day 5x8-Hour 07:00 - 15:00
