Locums Obstetrics and Gynecology Physician in Palmer, Alaska - Emergency Privileges, 24-Hour Call

Provide Labor and Delivery and hospital-based OB/GYN coverage in an inpatient setting with 24-hour call shifts. Five-day emergency privileges are available to help qualified physicians start quickly.

Practice & Cases

• Inpatient Obstetrics and Gynecology coverage
• Labor and Delivery, hospital-based OB/GYN care, and Emergency Department coverage
• Approximately 800 deliveries annually
• Full hospital support staff

Schedule

• 24-hour call shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 AM
• 30-minute response time
• Available coverage includes:
  • July 21-28
  • August 17-20
  • September 30-October 8
  • November 23-30

Requirements

• Must be an MD or DO
• Active Alaska license required
• Board Eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology
• BLS and NRP required

Logistics

• Airfare, lodging, rental car, and mileage are provided
• Travel accommodations are available within established reimbursement guidelines
