• Schedule: Weekends and holidays required; rotating holidays
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $5,140 - $5,510
• Patient Volume: Approximately 6–7 patients per day
• Start Date: September 21, 2026
• Contract Length: 23 weeks
• Credentialing Timeframe: 60–90 days

Job Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of inpatient cardiology experience required
• At least 1 year of experience managing inpatient medicine patients required
• Adjunct experience in cardiac critical care, cardiac procedure care, or cath lab preferred
• Board certification required: ACNP-BC, AGACNP-BC, ACNPC-AG, or ACNPC
• Active California licensure or willingness to obtain California licensure for this San Francisco assignment
• ACLS and BLS certifications required
• CA DEA with Schedule 2/2N required
• Experience with AHA certifications preferred; all certifications must be AHA
• Strong clinical documentation skills, including progress notes and discharge summaries
• Ability to explain any employment gaps greater than 6 months in submitted materials

Responsibilities

• Provide daily inpatient cardiology care for adults with complex medical needs
• Round with the attending physician and help coordinate daily patient care plans
• Write progress notes, history and physical documentation, and discharge summaries
• Coordinate complex discharges with nursing, social work, case management, physical therapy, and pharmacy teams
• Participate in multidisciplinary rounds and collaborate closely with the care team
• Manage new admissions and support post-cardiac procedure coverage when needed
• Maintain high standards of clinical quality, efficiency, and communication in a fast-paced inpatient setting
