About the Position

Opportunity Highlights

• Schedule: 8-hour shifts (7:00 AM - 3:30 PM) or 10-hour shifts (7:00 AM - 5:30 PM); Required call: second call with beeper 1-2 times per week and occasional 24-hour in-house call
• Job Setting: Hospital - Care team model; 9 ORs including 2 cardiac ORs and 2 OB ORs; GI, EP, and IR suites; CRNA medically directed; Docs perform cases occasionally; Epix electronic charting
• Types of Cases: OB (yes), Orthopedic (yes), Neurological (no), Pediatrics (minimal)
• Credentialing: 6-8 weeks privileging; Active PA state license required — Compact licenses will not be accepted

Minimum Requirements

• Board Certified/Board Eligible: Certified or recertified by the AANA Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists (or its predecessor), or currently awaiting initial certification
• Certifications: Graduation from a nurse anesthesia education program accredited by the Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Educational Programs (COA) or its predecessor
• Licensure: Current, active Pennsylvania state Registered Professional Nurse (RPN) license required; must comply with applicable state statutory or requirements concerning the advanced practice of nursing — Compact licenses will not be accepted
