About the Position

All Star Healthcare is partnering with a facility in Michigan that is seeking a Family Medicine physician for locum tenens coverage.

Assignment Details

• Tentative Start Date: August 3, 2026
• Duration: Approximately 12 weeks minimum
• Schedule Requirement: Full-time, Monday–Thursday (required)
• Patient Volume: 18–22 patients per day
• Practice Population: Adult/Geriatric
• EMR: Epic

Practice Overview

• Primary Care Physicians: 5
• Advanced Practice Providers: 4
• Exam Rooms Available: 2–3
• Supervision of Other Providers: No
• ED Backup Coverage Required: No

Requirements

• Board Certified or Board Eligible
• Minimum of 1 year of Primary Care experience
• Active Michigan medical license
• Active DEA
• BLS certification
• Must be available full-time Monday–Thursday
• Local Michigan provider; drive-in candidates only
