This 433-bed hospital provides dedicated radiation oncology services within an outpatient and clinic-based setting. The facility maintains established clinical protocols and dedicated support staff to ensure coordinated and quality oncology patient management. Appropriate resources are in place to support clinicians delivering radiation therapy services on-site.

Kentucky offers a range of regional attractions and year-round activities suited to diverse interests. The state features outdoor recreation opportunities, including horse farm tours, bourbon experiences, and visits to natural areas such as Red River Gorge and state lakes, as well as cultural destinations and local events throughout the region. Clinicians on assignment may explore distillery tours, community festivals such as the Twin Lakes National Fiddler Championship, and other leisure activities during their time in the state.

The radiation oncologist will provide clinic-based outpatient oncology services on a day shift schedule with no call requirements. Clinical responsibilities include overseeing radiation treatments, conducting new patient consults, managing follow-up visits, performing treatment planning, completing status checks, and participating in tumor conferences. The clinician will work collaboratively with a support team consisting of 1 RN, 4 Radiation Therapists, 2 Medical Physicists, and 3 Dosimetrists. Board certification in Radiation Oncology is required for this assignment.
