Urology Physician Requirements

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Urology
• Active Arizona medical license or IMLC eligibility
• DEA registration required
• Minimum 1 year of Urology experience required
• Experience with Cerner preferred
• Current case logs and vaccination records may be required during credentialing
• COVID-19 and flu vaccination required, with possible medical or religious exemptions considered on a case-by-case basis

Responsibilities

• Provide urology coverage in both clinic and hospital-based settings
• See approximately 15-18 patients per day in clinic
• Perform about 10-15 procedures per week
• Complete approximately 3-4 surgeries per week in the OR
• Perform procedures including ureteroscopy, laser lithotripsy, TURP, TURBT, and flexible cystoscopy
• Support patient care alongside a collaborative clinical support team
• Document patient care and charting in Cerner
• Participate in call coverage as needed for scheduled dates
