• Position: Anesthesiologist
• Specialty: General Anesthesiology
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $9,890 - $10,430
• Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM
• Shift Duration: 12-hour days
• Hours Per Week: 36
• Start Date: April 6, 2026
• Duration: 26 weeks
• Case Mix: General, Cardiac, Neuro, Orthopedics, OB, and Pediatrics

Job Requirements

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
• Completion of an approved residency in Anesthesiology
• Board certification or fellowship required
• Current physician license eligible for practice in North Carolina
• ECFMG and FLEX required, if applicable
• At least 1 year of anesthesiology experience required
• Strong clinical judgment and the ability to work collaboratively in a high-acuity surgical setting

Responsibilities

• Assist in directing and coordinating activities in the anesthesia department
• Provide medical management for patients undergoing surgery and other procedures
• Complete pre-anesthesia evaluations and obtain or verify patient consent
• Discuss anesthetic options, benefits, and risks with patients
• Induce, maintain, and emerge patients safely from anesthesia
• Monitor physiological status throughout the procedure
• Perform clinical interventions as needed to support patient safety, comfort, and perioperative care
