  • Case Volume: Approximately 3,500-4,000 general cases per month
  • Practice Environment: Busy surgical schedule with a supervisory anesthesia care-team model
  • EMR: Cerner and AIMS

Job Requirements

  • Board Eligible or Board Certified in Anesthesiology
  • Active North Carolina medical license required
  • Minimum of 1 year of anesthesiology experience required
  • Ability to perform peripheral nerve blocks
  • Experience in a high-volume general anesthesia setting preferred
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and clinical decision-making skills

Responsibilities

  • Provide anesthesia coverage for a broad mix of general surgical cases
  • Support cases involving OB, trauma, vascular, neuro, urology, orthopedics, and stroke-related procedures
  • Work in a primarily supervisory care-team model alongside CRNAs
  • Occasionally manage personal cases as needed
  • Deliver safe, efficient, and patient-centered anesthesia care
  • Collaborate with surgeons, CRNAs, and the clinical team to maintain smooth daily workflow
