About the Position

Our client in Iowa is actively seeking an Orthopedic Surgery Nurse Practitioner for a 90-day assignment starting Aug 3, 2026. This role involves 8a-5p shifts focusing on clinical, surgical, and trauma/orthopedic call duties, including total hip, knee, and shoulder replacements, surgical procedures for hands, wrists, knees, shoulders, hips, ankles, and feet, as well as managing trauma injuries, fracture care, and sports medicine cases.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Provide clinical, surgical, and trauma/orthopedic call coverage.
• Perform total hip, knee, and shoulder replacement procedures.
• Conduct surgical procedures for the hand, wrist, knee, shoulder, hip, ankle, and foot.
• Manage trauma injuries, fracture care, sports medicine, and other related disorders.

Additional Information

• Board certified in Orthopaedic Surgery.
• EMR systems used include Epic and GE Centricity.
