Position Overview $430 / hour
HPA Healthcare is recruiting a Board Certified or Board Eligible Urologist for a premier long-term locum opportunity in Michigan's scenic Upper Peninsula.
This assignment offers one of the most desirable schedules currently available in locum tenens—a true 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off rotation with no call responsibilities, allowing physicians exceptional work-life balance while maintaining a busy and rewarding surgical practice.
The physician will provide a mix of outpatient clinic, inpatient consultation, assigned patient rounding, and elective surgical procedures. Providers will have access to a Da Vinci Xi robotic system while working alongside experienced nursing and APP support in a collaborative practice environment.
This assignment is ideal for physicians looking for long-term stability, predictable scheduling, competitive compensation, and the opportunity to practice comprehensive adult urology without overnight call obligations.
Physician Compensation: $430/hour
Physician Pay Ranking: Top 3-5% nationally among comparable scheduled locum Urology assignments.
Assignment Highlights- Long-term assignment with one-year preferred commitment

- Monday-Friday clinical coverage
- 8:00 AM-5:00 PM
- Four clinic days plus one dedicated OR day weekly

- Evaluate and treat adult urology patients
- Perform outpatient clinic visits
- Perform inpatient consultations
- Round on assigned patients
- Perform elective surgical procedures
- Utilize robotic surgical platform when appropriate
- Perform ureteroscopy
- Perform laparoscopic urologic procedures
- Interpret renal and bladder ultrasound studies
- Perform TRUS biopsies
- Perform incontinence procedures
- Evaluate male fertility conditions
- Collaborate with nursing and APP staff
- Supervise Advanced Practice Providers when necessary
- Maintain timely documentation within Athena and Meditech EMRs
