Quick Facts

• Location: 2700 Dolbeer Street, Eureka, CA 95501
• Start Date: 09/01/2026
• End Date/Duration: Full-time, ongoing assignment
• Shift: 8:00 am – 5:00 pm, Monday to Friday
• Hours/Week: 35-40 hours/week (with pre-approved OT opportunities)
• Employment Type: Contract/Locum
• License/Certifications: Active CA license, DEA, BLS, ACLS, BC required
• Experience: Previous inpatient/rounding experience in cardiology within the last 2 years preferred

• Hourly Rate: $1.00 (plus applicable overtime)

What You’ll Do

• Provide inpatient and outpatient cardiology services under physician oversight
• Assist with patient assessments, diagnostics, and treatment planning
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient care
• Document clinical findings accurately in electronic health records
• Participate in rounding and bedside care within the cardiology unit
• Adhere to hospital protocols and safety standards
• Support quality improvement initiatives in the cardiology department

What You Need

• Current CA license and active DEA registration
• Board Certified in specialty (if applicable)
• 2+ years of inpatient/rounding cardiology experience within the last 2 years
• ACLS and BLS certifications required
• Strong clinical skills in cardiology patient management
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
