About the Position

Enterprise Medical Recruiting is assisting a hospital-employed practice in Port Arthur to recruit a second Orthopedic Surgeon. This is a high-demand opportunity with strong hospital support, growing infrastructure, and immediate case volume in a community that needs expanded orthopedic services.

The hospital welcomed a full-time orthopedic surgeon in January 2026 and is actively expanding its orthopedic clinic. Leadership is committed to strengthening the service line and adding a second surgeon to support growth and establish a stable, sustainable call rotation.

Practice Details:

• Hospital-employed position
• Market-leading base compensation plus wRVU bonus
• Traditional practice model: clinic + surgery + inpatient consults
• Newly developing orthopedic clinic
• Broad case mix: total joints (hips, knees, shoulders), general orthopedics, and sports-related procedures welcomed
• Current employed surgeon practicing general orthopedics
• Strong opportunity to develop a total joint focus
• Call projected at approximately 12 days per month among employed surgeons
• Local orthopedic surgeon assisting with approximately 1 week of call coverage
• Immediate volume available with strong community demand
• Leadership is committed to growing and modernizing the orthopedic service line

Located in Southeast Texas, Port Arthur is approximately 1.5 hours from Houston and its major international airport. The area offers coastal living, a lower cost of living, and access to major metro amenities without the daily congestion.
