About the Position

Locums Obstetrics and Gynecology Physician Assistant in Cambridge, Massachusetts - First Assist, Night Shifts

Support obstetric and gynecologic surgical services with dedicated first assist responsibilities during overnight inpatient coverage. This assignment combines labor and delivery, postpartum care, and emergency GYN cases.

Practice & Cases

• Inpatient coverage across labor and delivery, postpartum, and emergency GYN consults
• First assist for C-sections and emergency GYN surgeries
• Postoperative rounding and inpatient management
• Supported by 24/7 PA, CNM, and OB physician coverage

Schedule

• Three 12-hour shifts per week
• Night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Nights and weekends included
• Initial three-month assignment

Requirements

• Must be a Physician Assistant
• Active Massachusetts license required
• Board Certified with PA-C certification
• BLS, PALS, DEA, and RNFA required

Logistics

• No travel or lodging reimbursement provided
• Local Massachusetts candidates preferred
