We are currently recruiting a Physician | OB/GYN for a prominent healthcare facility in Petoskey, MI.

Job Description

24/7 Hospital Coverage to include 6 hours of patient care.

the facility is tax exempt and will not reimburse taxes on lodging

Site uses reverse billing - provider must clock in/out using DocTime - no timesheets will be approved.

Expenses covered by client will not exceed the limitations listed in the Travel & Expense policy between the facility Health Care & AHSA.

• Shift coverage: Client will be open to a provider who can cover on call only if blocks of coverage
• 24/7 Hospital Coverage to include 6 hours of patient care. Coverage includes:
• Labor & Delivery
• Emergency Department
• Surgical coverage
• Acute/urgent surgical need
• Clinic consults only for cases deemed as emergent to determine whether the patient would require hospital admission
• Date range: Will begin in August and anticipated to end on December 31, 2026
• Patients per day: 1.5 deliveries/day
• Support staff: 2 NPs
• Current EHR in use: Cerner

• Prenatal care
• Vaginal deliveries
• C-sections
• VBAC

• Malpractice rate: included in rate
• Orientation fee: 1/2 of hourly
• 24 hours on call - 6 hrs gratis
• Call Back - After 6 hours of patient care

• Board certified in ON/GYN [REQUIRED]
• Active MI licenses [REQUIRED]
• Must have at least 2 years' experience in OB/GYN [REQUIRED]
• Local candidate - Will be open to someone to fly in if they can cover 5 block of days.
