About the Position

Seeking an experienced Physician Assistant with Cardiothoracic Surgery experience for an ongoing locums opportunity in Pennsylvania.

✅ Ongoing Assignment (6–8 Months)
✅ Inpatient + Outpatient Mix
✅ Monday–Friday Schedule (7:00 AM – 3:30 PM)
✅ No Call Requirements
✅ Occasional Weekend Rounding (1 Weekend/Month)
✅ EPIC EMR
✅ Level II Trauma Center

Responsibilities Include:
• Endoscopic Vein Harvesting (EVH)
• First Assisting in the OR
• Post-Operative Patient Management
• Inpatient Rounding
• Admissions, Consults & Discharges
• One Clinic Day Per Week

Requirements:
• Active PA License Preferred
• Board Certified Physician Assistant
• BLS & ACLS
• 2–3+ Years of Cardiac Surgery Experience
• Strong EVH Experience (VenaPax and/or Maquet Systems)

Patient Population:
• CABG
• AVR
• MVR
• TAVR

Minimum Availability: 2 Weeks per Month
