What You’ll Do
- Provide expert nursing care to emergency department patients in a fast-paced setting
- Assess patient conditions, prioritize care, and implement appropriate interventions
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, techs, and other team members
- Educate patients and families about procedures, treatments, and discharge instructions
- Document patient care accurately in electronic medical records system
- Respond swiftly and effectively in emergency situations
- Maintain compliance with all applicable nursing standards and hospital policies
What You Need
- Valid Oregon RN license; required certifications (BLS, ACLS) preferred
- Minimum of 1 year ER or critical care experience
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and teaching abilities
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing patient needs and priorities
