About the Position

Our client in Illinois is seeking a dedicated Gastroenterology Physician Assistant for a 60-day assignment starting Sep 21, 2026. This role involves working 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM, focusing on rounding, patient consults, and assisting physicians with various bedside procedures to support a growing service line.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Perform rounding and patient consults.
• Assist physicians with bedside procedures.
• Manage all general GI cases that come through the door for pre-operative and post-operative care.
• Support pre-operative and post-operative care for patients undergoing advanced procedures.
• This role does not involve first assisting.

Additional Information

• Board Certification in Gastroenterology is required.
• EMR system used is Epic.
