About the Position

Emergency Medicine Physician

Location: Louisiana

Schedule: 24 hour physician coverage model.

Position Overview

Provide emergency department coverage in a critical access hospital setting.

Work Environment

• Annual ED volume: approximately 6,800
• Acuity: level 4
• EMR: Epic

Required Qualifications

• Active Louisiana medical license
• Active DEA registered to Louisiana and Louisiana controlled substance registration as required
• Board certified or board eligible in Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, or Internal Medicine as accepted by the client

Certifications

• ACLS
• ATLS and PALS may be required depending on board certification pathway
