About the Position

• Schedule & Hours: Standard full-time schedule consisting of 4 to 5 shifts per week (10 hours each). The facility is also open to providers who can offer 1 week of block coverage per month. Daily shift times vary based on clinical assignments:

  • 06:15 AM – 04:45 PM

  • 06:30 AM – 04:30 PM

  • 07:00 AM – 05:00 PM

• Call Coverage: Must be willing to take night beeper call approximately 1 to 2 nights per week.

• Practice Setting & Scope: High-volume clinical setting within a prominent 593-bed Level I Trauma center (York Hospital) and an affiliated Surgery & Rehabilitation facility. You will work alongside a collaborative team of surgeons, anesthesiologists, and specialty clinicians.

• Clinical Focus: Dedicated to Cardiac Anesthesiology cases, managing a diverse and complex patient population across advanced surgical and procedural areas.

• Patient Population: Comprehensive anesthesia management spanning all age groups.

• Electronic Medical Records (EMR): Fully integrated utilizing Epic charting software.

Requirements

• Education & Board Certification: Board Certified (BC) or Board Eligible (BE) in Anesthesiology. Additional fellowship training or strong subspecialty experience in Cardiac Anesthesiology is preferred.

• License & Credentials: Active Pennsylvania (PA) State Medical License or IMLC Letters of Qualification (LOQ) in hand.

• Certifications: Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications.

• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of clinical anesthesiology experience is preferred.
