About the Position

• Schedule & Coverage Block: Ongoing PRN coverage needed approximately once every 12 to 14 weeks. The current targeted block is:

  • November 16 (7:00 AM) – November 23 (7:00 AM)

• Shift Structure: 24-Hour continuous call coverage handling acute hospital consults and surgical procedures. Expect an average callback volume of 10 to 12 hours per day.

• Practice Setting & Regional Scope: Based inpatient at a 76-bed acute care hospital in Chambersburg, PA. The provider will also provide phone consult/call support for regional affiliate facilities (Gettysburg, Waynesboro, and Fulton County Medical Center) as required.

• Support Structure: Solo physician coverage during the call shift; please note there is no dedicated APP (Advanced Practice Provider) support on this specific service rotation.

• Patient Population: Comprehensive urologic care spanning all age groups (Pediatrics, Adolescents, Adults, and Geriatrics).

• Electronic Medical Records (EMR): Fully integrated utilizing Epic charting software.

Requirements

• Education & License: Must hold an active, unrestricted Pennsylvania (PA) State Medical License or IMLC Letters of Qualification (LOQ) in hand at the time of submission.

• Board Certification: Board Certified (BC) or Board Eligible (BE) in Urology.

• Credentials: Active Federal DEA registration is required.

• Experience Level: Open to experienced providers as well as highly qualified New Graduates with a clean background.

• Core Skills: Strong clinical proficiency in general urology, autonomous decision-making, and excellent communication skills to coordinate with regional site teams.
