About the Position

• Schedule & Coverage Blocks: Seeking coverage for specific 7-day or multi-week blocks (facility is highly flexible on scheduling). Current targeted blocks include:

  • July 27 (Monday, 7:00 AM) – August 8 (Saturday, 8:00 AM)

  • September 19 (Saturday, 7:00 AM) – October 12 (Monday, 8:00 AM)

• Weekday Schedule (M-F): Standard day shift split between the OR and Office Clinic.

  • Clinic Hours: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (with a 30-minute lunch).

  • OR Hours: 7:00/8:00 AM – 4:00/5:00 PM (8-hour standard days).

• Call Coverage: After-hours weekday call and 24-hour weekend call. Note: APPs (Advanced Practice Providers) take first call, significantly reducing direct disruptions.

• Patient Load & Population: 15 to 20 patients per day in the office; OR cases scheduled as needed. Adult population only (Ages greater than 18).

• Practice Setting & Team: Located at a reputable Academic/Training hospital. You will work alongside 1 surgeon and 3 APPs, supported by 2 MAs. Residents are assigned to the service on rotation.

• Electronic Medical Records (EMR): Fully integrated utilizing Epic charting software.

Requirements

• Education & License: Active Pennsylvania (PA) State Medical License or IMLC Letters of Qualification (LOQ) in hand.

• Board Certification: Board Certified (BC) or Board Eligible (BE) in Gynecologic Oncology.

• Credentials: Active Federal DEA registration is required.

• Clinical Setting Adaptation: Must be comfortable working within an academic environment collaborating with residents on rotation.
