About the Position

Position Overview 

A Massachusetts community hospital is seeking an experienced Emergency Medicine Nurse Practitioner for locum tenens coverage.

This is an excellent opportunity for APPs seeking a high-quality Emergency Medicine assignment with physician support, flexible scheduling, and a collaborative practice model. APPs focus primarily on lower-acuity Emergency Department patients while working alongside Emergency Medicine physicians.

The facility is seeking candidates who can hit the ground running and contribute immediately to patient care.

Pay Ranking: Top 10% of Massachusetts Emergency Medicine NP locum opportunities

• Emergency Department coverage
• FMLA coverage through approximately October 1, 2026
• Four 10-hour shifts preferred
• Three 10-hour shifts accepted
• Minimum two 10-hour shifts weekly accepted
• Shared visit model with attending physicians
• Lower-acuity Emergency Medicine focus
• Epic EMR
