About the Position

A leading healthcare organization in Cambridge, Massachusetts is seeking an experienced OB/GYN Nurse Practitioner to provide inpatient obstetric and gynecologic care. This role combines labor & delivery support, postpartum care, inpatient gynecology management, emergency consults, and surgical first-assist responsibilities.

The ideal candidate must be certified to First Assist in the Operating Room and comfortable working independently within a collaborative OB/GYN team environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage inpatient OB and GYN patients
• Support Labor & Delivery, maternity, and postpartum services
• Evaluate and manage OB triage patients
• Provide inpatient and emergency department GYN consultations
• Assist with post-operative rounding and patient management
• Serve as First Assist during C-sections and emergent gynecologic surgeries
• Interpret fetal heart rate tracings
• Collaborate with OB physicians, CNMs, and clinical staff
• Document patient care using Epic EMR

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctoral Degree in Nursing
• Board Certified Nurse Practitioner
• Active Massachusetts NP License
• Certified First Assist in the Operating Room
• Experience in OB/GYN inpatient care
• Strong fetal heart rate interpretation skills
• Epic EMR experience preferred

Working Hours

• Full-Time
• 3 shifts per week
• 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• Nights and weekends
• 3-month assignment with extension potential
