Requirements Cambridge Health Alliance - Cambridge, MA OB GYN PA or NP Needed **PA MUST HAVES: SURGICAL FIRST ASSIST SKILLS, C/SECTION FIRST ASSIST + EMERGENT GYN SURGERY FIRST ASSIST, FETAL HEART RATE INTERPRETATION** **NPS MUST BE CERTIFIED TO FIRST ASSIST IN THE OR** **MA LICENSURE REQUIRED** **PA C CERTIFICATION REQUIRED** *** MAX BILL RATE 195/HOURLY FOR BOTH PA & NP*** ****MASSACHUSETTS LOCAL CANDIDATES STRONGLY PREFERRED LOCAL PROVIDERS WILL BE PRIORITIZED AND NON LOCAL CANDIDATES MAY HAVE LIMITED CONSIDERATION**** Start Date: As soon as credentialed Assignment Length: 3 months Schedule: Full time 3 shifts per week Shift Details: 7pm to 7am nights and weekends Call Requirement: 3 shifts per week Annual Volume: Approximately 1200 deliveries per year Patients Per Day: Variable, inpatient service % Admitted Patients: 100%, inpatient service Support Staff: PA and CNM coverage 24/7, OB MD coverage 24/7 EMR System: EPIC License Requirement: Active Massachusetts Physician Assistant license required at submission Certification Requirements: PA C required Credentialing Timeframe: 30 to 60 days expedited available Onboarding Requirements: EPIC training required Additional Information: -This OB/GYN PA role covers both OB and GYN for CHA. The PA also helps manage Inpatient and Emergency room GYN consults, assists with post-op GYN rounding and management, and support OB/L&D and postpartum. -This is a surgical PA position that requires First Assist for C-sections and Emergency GYN OR cases. It also includes the OB L&D/Maternity floor and triage management.
