About the Position
An established healthcare organization in Las Vegas is seeking a Physician (MD/DO) to provide comprehensive patient care across Pain Management, Primary Care, Urgent Care, and Ambulatory Surgery Center settings.
The ideal candidate will be committed to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care while collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to optimize clinical outcomes. Physicians with backgrounds in Pain Management, Interventional Pain, Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, PM&R, Anesthesiology, or Urgent Care are encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities
Clinical Care
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat acute and chronic medical conditions
- Perform comprehensive medical histories and physical examinations
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Order, review, and interpret laboratory, imaging, and diagnostic studies
- Prescribe medications and therapeutic interventions
- Monitor treatment effectiveness and provide follow-up care
- Coordinate specialty referrals and continuity of care
Pain Management
- Evaluate and manage acute and chronic pain conditions
- Develop multimodal pain management treatment plans
- Perform pain management procedures based on privileges and experience
- Monitor patient outcomes and adjust treatment strategies as needed
- Ensure compliance with controlled substance prescribing regulations
Ambulatory Surgery Center
- Conduct pre-operative evaluations
- Review patient histories, medications, and diagnostic studies
- Perform surgical and interventional procedures within granted privileges
- Provide post-operative care and follow-up
- Participate in discharge planning and patient education
- Maintain compliance with AAAHC, CMS, OSHA, and infection control standards
Documentation & Compliance
- Complete timely and accurate EMR documentation
- Ensure coding and documentation support medical necessity
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA, Medicare, Medicaid, and state regulations
- Participate in quality assurance, peer review, and performance improvement initiatives
Leadership & Collaboration
- Collaborate with Nurse Practitioners, Physician Assistants, Nurses, and support staff
- Provide supervision and clinical oversight as required
- Participate in provider meetings and educational activities
- Support organizational quality and patient satisfaction goals
Patient Education
- Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatment options, procedures, and preventive care
- Promote patient engagement and informed decision-making
- Encourage adherence to treatment plans and follow-up care
Working Hours
- Monday through Friday
- Occasional Saturdays as needed
- Schedule may vary based on clinic and procedure volume

Requirements
Required
- MD or DO from an accredited medical school
- Active Nevada Medical License
- Active DEA Registration
- Nevada Controlled Substance Registration
- Board Certified or Board Eligible
- Current BLS Certification
- Current ACLS Certification
- Eligible for medical staff privileges
Preferred
- Experience in Pain Management or Interventional Pain Management
- Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, PM&R, Anesthesiology, or Urgent Care experience
- Ambulatory Surgery Center experience
- Knowledge of AAAHC accreditation standards
