About the Position

Our client in Florida is seeking an experienced Anesthetist for a 100-day locum tenens assignment, beginning Jul 13, 2026. This role involves working in a dynamic care team model, delivering anesthesia for a wide array of cases including general surgery, orthopedics, OBGYN, and trauma. The schedule will include Monday-Friday 8-hour shifts, requiring a minimum of two weeks per month, with participation in call and weekend rotations.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Manage an average of 1200 cases per month.
  • Work in a care team model consisting of 39 CRNAs and 17 MDs, with 20% supervision and 80% own cases.
  • Commit to a minimum of two weeks per month.
  • Work Monday-Friday 8-hour shifts (7:00 AM - 3:30 PM), with flexibility for shift length and location as coverage needs change.
  • Participate in required call and weekend rotations, including one weekend every other month for beeper call (Saturday and Sunday).
  • Provide anesthesia for a diverse range of cases including General Surgery, Orthopedics, OB/GYN, ENT, Plastics, CT, Neuro, Urology, EP, OMFS, Oncology, Dental, Vascular, Thoracic, and GI.
  • Handle Adult Trauma, Pediatric Trauma, and NICU cases.
  • Possess pediatric experience and willingness to cover pediatric cases.
  • Perform required procedures including Trauma, CT, Pediatrics, and OB.
