About the Position
Our client in KY is seeking a skilled Hematologist/Oncologist to join their team for a 160-day assignment, starting Sep 28, 2026. This Physician will provide comprehensive outpatient and inpatient Hematology/Oncology care, with a primary focus on clinic-based oncology. The schedule typically runs from 8a-5p, with potential for night call, handling an average patient census of 22 per day, including 2-3 new consults.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Provide comprehensive outpatient and inpatient Hematology/Oncology care.
- Manage a patient mix of approximately 95% clinic and 5% hospital cases.
- Focus on 70% Oncology and 30% Hematology cases.
- Handle an average daily patient census of 22, including 2-3 new consults.
- Administer Intracavitary Chemotherapy (highly preferred).
- Perform Intrathecal Chemotherapy (required).
