CRNA (Locum Tenens)

Schedule: 8, 10, 12, or 16 hour shift options with varying day and night coverage
Call: Willingness for beeper call preferred; approximately 1 call shift per week and 1 to 2 weekend shifts per month
Model: Medical direction
Setting: On site

Position Overview

Provide anesthesia coverage for a mix of surgical and procedural cases. New graduates may be considered.

Case Mix

• General and OB
• Some vascular
• Some trauma
• No hearts
• No pediatrics
• Approximately 50 percent spines

Systems

• Anesthesia record: paper
• EMR: Meditech

Required Qualifications

• Active Texas license.
• BLS and ACLS.

Assignment Details

• Credentialing timeframe: approximately 90 days
• Contract length: 3 to 6 months
