Radiologist Job Requirements

• Board-certified or board-eligible Physician in Radiology
• At least 1 year of radiology experience preferred
• General diagnostic radiology experience with moderate interventional radiology procedures and diagnostic reading
• Fellowship training in interventional radiology (IR) preferred, but not required
• Active medical license in hand required with submission
• ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, and Nursys required with submission
• Cerner experience preferred
• Travel physician experience highly preferred
• COVID-19 and flu vaccination required, with medical/religious exemptions and declinations allowed

Responsibilities

• Provide general radiology coverage with a combination of diagnostic reads and moderate interventional procedures
• Perform CT-guided and ultrasound-guided biopsies, excluding mammography
• Complete drain placements, including renal, biliary, gastric, gallbladder, and abscess cases
• Support biliary stent procedures and other interventional radiology needs as appropriate
• Perform thoracentesis and paracentesis procedures
• Assist with dialysis procedures in the cath lab
• Handle occasional peripheral and pulmonary venous thrombosis cases
• Participate in rare embolization procedures, including GI and other bleeding cases
• Deliver high-quality, timely interpretations in a weekday-only, no-call environment
