• Position: Radiology Physician, Locum Tenens
• Location: Mountain Home, Arkansas 72653 — scenic Ozarks community with access to lakes, trails, and outdoor recreation
• Start Date: 08/17/2026
• End Date: 02/15/2027
• Duration: 26 weeks
• Schedule: Full-time weekday radiology coverage with start times varying between 7:00 AM and 9:00 AM CST and ending between 5:00 PM and 6:00 PM CST
• Shift Duration: 8-hour days
• Shifts Per Week: 5
• Call: No call
• Weekends: No weekends
• Setting: On-site hospital-based radiology coverage
• Technology: Philips PACS, PowerScribe 360, and Cerner EMR

Radiologist Job Requirements

• At least 1 year of radiology experience preferred
• Board-certified or board-eligible Physician in Radiology
• Active Arkansas medical license required at time of submission
• ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, and Nursys required with submission
• Travel radiology experience highly preferred
• Cerner experience preferred
• Comfort with general radiology reads, MSK, ER, PET, and breast imaging is a strong plus
• Fellowship training in MSK, Neuro, or Body MRI desired, though general radiologists are encouraged to apply
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative imaging environment

Responsibilities

• Interpret a broad range of radiology studies with accuracy and efficiency
• Provide high-quality diagnostic reads for general, ER, and specialty imaging cases
• Collaborate with radiology and clinical teams to support timely patient care
• Use PACS, voice recognition, and EMR systems to document findings and communicate results
• Maintain a consistent weekday workflow with no call and no weekend coverage
• Support the department with optional procedural backup if desired
• Deliver dependable locum tenens coverage while maintaining strong communication and professionalism
