• End Date/Duration: Ongoing coverage
• Shift: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, with optional 3–6 night call shifts per month (5:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
• Hours/Week: Approx. 40 hours
• Employment Type: Contract/Locum
• License/Certs: KY Medical License, Board Certified in Hematology and Oncology (preferred)
• Experience: Typically 2+ years in Hematology/Oncology practice

What You’ll Do:

• Provide expert Hematology-Oncology care to adult patients
• Manage an average of 22 patients daily, including new consults
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop treatment plans
• Participate in patient consultations, education, and follow-up
• Support hospital and clinic-based Hematology and Oncology services
• Utilize EPIC EMR system for charting and documentation
• Engage in quality improvement initiatives and patient advocacy

What You Need:

• Valid Kentucky medical license or eligibility to obtain one
• Board Certification or Eligibility in Hematology-Oncology
• At least 2 years of post-training Hematology/Oncology experience
• Strong communication and team collaboration skills
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
