• Duration: 38 weeks
• Hours Per Week: 36
• Shifts Per Week: 3
• Shift Duration: 12-hour day shifts
• Schedule: Day shifts beginning at 7:00 AM
• Call: Yes
• Case Mix: General surgery, GYN, bariatric, spine, OB, orthopedics, neuro, and pediatric cases
• Charting: Primarily paper charting with select pre-op and post-op orders entered electronically

Job Requirements

• At least 1 year of Anesthesiology experience required
• M.D. or D.O. from an accredited College of Medicine
• Completion of an approved Anesthesia residency program
• Current physician license
• ECFMG and FLEX as applicable
• Experience in a fast-paced perioperative and surgical environment
• Vaccine compliance required

Responsibilities

• Assist in directing and coordinating activities within the Anesthesia Department
• Provide medical management for patients receiving anesthesia during surgical and procedural care
• Perform pre-anesthesia evaluations and assessments
• Obtain and verify informed patient consent
• Discuss anesthetic options, benefits, and risks with patients
• Manage induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia
• Monitor patients' physiological condition throughout procedures
• Perform clinical interventions as needed to support patient safety and outcomes
• Provide care in both supervised settings and personally managed cases
