Candidates should be able to provide 7-10 shifts per month to be considered. Location: Baptist Anderson Regional Medical Center- Hospitalist, Merdian, MS Position and Facility Overview 260 Beds FM Residency Closed ICU 7-on;7-off scheduling Round robin admissions HM Coverage Model: Monday-Sunday Day: 2 Physicians and 2 NPPAs (7a-5p) Day: 2 Physicians and 2 NPPAs (8a-6p) Night: 1 Physician (7p-7a); 1 NPPA (6p-4a) CCU Coverage Model: Day: 1 Physician (7a-7p), 1 NPPA (7a-5p) Night: 1 NPPA (7p-7a) HM Physicians respond to Codes and RRTs No procedures required for HM EMR: EPIC Job Qualifications Licensure: MS Board Certification: ABIM/ABFM Eligible or Certified MD/DO - Education/Training Requirements Must have completed 3-year residency in EM, FM or IM w/ 3rd yr w/ Moonlighting approval MD/DO - Clinical Experience Requirements Applicants must be able to demonstrate provision of inpatient or outpatient services to at least 30 patients in the last 12 months or demonstrate successful completion of a hospital-affiliated accredited residency, special clinical fellowship or research case log over past 24 months may be requested MD/DO - License Requirements Active unrestricted MS medical license and DEA w/ MS address & Schedules 2,2N,3,3N,4 & 5 MD/DO - Board Cert+N2ification Requirements BC or BE in IM , FM , AOBIM or AOMFM MD/DO - Merit Badge Requirements ACLS required MD/DO - Immunization Requirements COVID preferred, FLU required or acceptable exclusion MD/DO - Case Log Requirements Documentation of case logs for past 2 years. MD/DO - CME/CEU Requirements Proof of 40 CME hours over the past 2 years. MD/DO - Facility Procedure Requirements Moderate Sedation MD/DO - Malpractice Coverage Requirements $100K/$300K Claims Made Coverage MD/DO - Additional Details Required to be a supervising or backup physician for NP's and PA's.
